Job Analysis is the detailed process of specifying and analyzing information about the content, context and requirements of a job. Sometimes referred to as competency modeling, job analysis is a critical step in demonstrating the relationship between the tasks performed on the job and the knowledge, skills, abilities and tools required to perform the tasks.
