Dr. Bill Walton has nearly 20 years of experience in the areas of training, training evaluation, employee selection, career development, and leadership development. Since joining Fors Marsh Group he has been involved in work with the Federal Voting Assistance Program: creating, delivering and evaluating new training modules to improve voting opportunities for service members and their families. He also has been at the forefront of the development of the innovative career development website MyCareer@VA that allows employees and potential employees of the Department of Veterans Affairs to investigate all aspects of growing and advancing in their chosen career field.
He has conducted research in the areas of personality and personality measurement systems as well as assessment center theory and methodology. He has provided consultation to clients as varied as government agencies, local and regional businesses, Fortune 500 corporations, such as Boeing, as well as some of the top academic institutions in the country.
Bill received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and later became a member of the faculty in their Department of Management. While on faculty he was recognized for his outstanding teaching and also served as a coach for the Executive MBA programs. In addition, Bill has served as a member of the faculty at American University's Kogod School of Business in Washington D.C.
