Dr. Jacqueline James serves as Director of Federal Healthcare at Fors Marsh Group (FMG). In this role, she leads the team that supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Center for Program Integrity (CPI) in developing educational and outreach initiatives to educate their target audiences to prevent, detect, and combat fraud, waste, and abuse of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Under her leadership, FMG advances the goals of this project and engages key stakeholders by utilizing three workstreams: Events, eLearning, and Digital.
Before joining FMG, Dr. James held a series of senior leadership roles supporting both federal and private sector clients. She has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, change management, and project management. Over her professional career, she has established a long track record of leading high-performance professional teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions that provide value. Teams she has led have built a strong history of client satisfaction, innovation, and leadership.
Dr. James is an expert in change management and a Prosci-certified practitioner. Her demonstrated successes include utilizing change management to increase the adoption and development of operational processes that improve efficiency and ensure that leadership understands the impact of change and how to sustain it. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from Howard University, an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Bowie State University, and a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland, College Park.
