As Vice President of Operations at Fors Marsh Group, Jason is responsible for overseeing and providing direction to the operations and IT teams and manages a variety of client research programs. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm and develops and directs programs designed to meet the needs of FMG, vendors, clients, and related initiatives. In addition, Mr. Marsh is responsible for selecting and purchasing new technology and integrating it within current systems while maintaining a high level of security and stability within the network.
As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Marsh manages multi-million dollar contracts with printers, mailing houses, and other subcontractors that participate in our large survey campaigns. He is also trained to manage system information security architecture, design, installation, operational planning, and risk remediation activities on more than 70 servers in support of various government clients, ensuring all systems meet highest level of standards to remain FISMA compliant. He has developed the Fors Marsh Group System Security Plan (SSP), Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), Disaster Recovery Plan (DR), and other critical policies and procedures to ensure FMG retains the highest levels of protection for the existing IT infrastructure. Under his direction, FMG has been successfully audited, certified, and cleared to work for many highly sensitive government entities including DIACAP certification from the DOD, and independent review and approval of security controls by both the IRS and VA.
Jason joined FMG in 2005 and was promoted to Director of Operations in 2013. Over the past nine years, his work has led to the development and implementation of successful policies and procedures for human resources, accounting, information technology, and employee engagement. Prior to joining Fors Marsh Group, Jason held a leadership position at Bowling Green State University, where he was responsible for a team of 30 employees.
Jason received his B.S. in Information Technology from George Mason University and has been professionally certified in A+, Net+, and Cisco technology platforms.
