Rob Calderón

Director, Organizational Research and Consulting

Dr. Rob Calderón is the director of Organizational Research and Consulting at Fors Marsh Group. He has more than 20 years of experience working on and leading applied personnel research projects in both the public and private sectors. His primary areas of expertise include job and occupational analysis and competency modeling, the design and evaluation of personnel selection and classification systems, career pathing/modeling, workforce analysis/planning, and quantitative/qualitative data analysis.

Rob has directed work across a broad range of federal clients, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Education (ED), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and United States Marine Corps (USMC).

Before joining Fors Marsh Group, Rob was a principal industrial-organizational psychologist at the American Institutes for Research (AIR). He has presented at conferences, including the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP), American Psychological Association (APA), and Association for Talent Development (ATD). He has also taught graduate level courses in research methods, statistics, and performance management as an adjunct professor at both George Washington University and George Mason University. Rob has also served on the board of directors for the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington DC (PTCMW).

Rob received his Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology from The Ohio State University and a B.A. in psychology as well as a B.A. in statistics from Northwestern University.
