Fors Marsh Group (FMG) earned its highest ever rank on the American Marketing Association’s (AMA) 2018 Gold Report: Top 50 Market Research Firms. Each year, the list recognizes companies that have demonstrated growth, impactful work, and research leadership. FMG has been honored as an AMA Top 50 research consultancy firm every year since 2015.

Of U.S.-based companies considered in 2018, FMG ranked 36—its highest rank to date. FMG’s revenue increased 6.5% in 2017, reaching $32.8 million. FMG’s revenue growth of 6.5% surpassed the 3.4% average U.S. revenue growth rate for the top 50 market research companies.

In 2017, Fors Marsh Group saw increases in new client engagements, international projects, and staff size. FMG opened a new office in Columbus, Ohio to meet growing demand for data collection, storage, and analysis. In 2018, FMG will establish a second Arlington, Virginia office to meet demand for new client engagements supporting national and global programs. FMG also established two new divisions—the Learning and Training division and the Customer Experience division—to provide a greater range of consultancy and implementation services. New client partners include the U.S. Postal Service, Pew Research Center, Deltek, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

FMG also became the first Washington, D.C. metro area research company to earn the B Corporation Certification. As a Certified B Corporation, FMG is recognized internationally as being committed to a higher standard of business practices that create a positive impact on our community, employees, clients, and the environment.
