Fors Marsh Group’s Client USCIS Receives the 2018 Secretary’s Award for Leadership Excellence

Fors Marsh Group (FMG) congratulates the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services’ (USCIS) Office of Human Capital and Training (HCT) team for earning the 2018 Department of Homeland Security Secretary’s Award for Leadership Excellence. The Secretary’s Award recognizes the HCT team for outstanding teamwork in designing and providing programs that provide exceptional leadership development, employee training, and other support services for USCIS employees.

Since 2017, FMG has worked closely with HCT to design and develop employee and leadership training programs that provide measurable improvements in USCIS employee engagement and productivity. With HCT’s needs and mission in mind, FMG’s Human Capital Management team works with HCT’s Training and Career Development Division to identify opportunities to address key performance gaps by providing numerous career development programs and tools. This includes the Leadership Lessons Series: an ongoing program of webinar-based learning opportunities for leaders and aspiring leaders to gain the knowledge and hone the skills they need to ensure the long-term success of the organization.

The Secretary’s Awards honor the work, sacrifice, and professional excellence of the Department of Homeland Security employees and recognize teams and individuals that display a special dedication to the mission of homeland security.
