Fors Marsh Group to Provide Data Collection Support for the Election Assistance Commission

Fors Marsh Group (FMG) earns a two-year contract to provide technical assistance and data collection support for the United States Election Assistance Commission’s (EAC) 2020 Election Administration and Voting Survey (EAVS) and 2020 Policy Survey. Under this contract, FMG will provide survey management, data analysis and reporting, and project management support to assist EAC in collecting election data.

The findings from the EAVS survey  are critical as a guide in administering future elections. The data collected and information FMG will present are used to identify changing voter needs and identify resources required to improve election administration and voter experiences. This survey enables the EAC to investigate the administrative election process and its unique management challenges.

“2020 will not be a typical election year with COVID-19 concerns and the rise of interest in voting by mail. We are excited for our partnership with the EAC and the opportunity to improve the election process at such a critical time in our nation’s history,” said Doug Chapin, Director of Election Research at FMG. “FMG’s experience overseeing the 2016 and 2018 EAVS positions us well to continue this important work.”
