Fors Marsh Group Earns Top Workplaces USA Award for 2022
For the second consecutive year, Fors Marsh Group (FMG) earns recognition from Energage as a Top Workplaces USA. The award is earned entirely through employee feedback that was gathered in an anonymous company-wide engagement survey.
FMG’s strong culture and purpose-driven mission makes the company unique among research consultancy firms. As a Certified B Corporation, the organization adheres to high performance, accountability, and transparency standards to use business as a force for good.
FMG’s core values—putting people first, doing things the right way, taking on impactful work, and seeking out endless pursuit of growth—are at the center of its award-winning employee culture. These four fundamentals serve as beacons that guide FMG’s business strategy and employee relations.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled for FMG to be named a Top Workplace USA once again,” said Ben Garthwaite, FMG CEO. “The award is a testament to the thriving, diverse, and inclusive culture our employees have fostered and the great work they do. Our mission is to make the world a better place, and FMGers do that passionately and always remain committed to finding meaningful solutions.”
FMG offers employees the opportunity to join Affinity Groups that promote an inclusive, safe, and meaningful work environment. Headed by the Driving Inclusion and Valuing Equity (DIVE) Committee, the groups work collaboratively with FMG leadership to advocate for and support engagement among FMG employees. The DIVE Committee also facilitates events to promote the value of diverse thought and experience and evaluates FMG policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
FMG also regularly reviews its employee benefits package and empowers staff to engage in monthly leadership roundtable meetings and frequent organizational health surveys to share input. In the past year, the company has expanded its fertility benefits and instituted an unlimited paid time off policy.
In 2021, FMG became Climate Neutral Certified by offsetting all emissions, putting the company 10 years ahead of schedule for meeting its net-zero goal while maintaining aggressive 50% reduction targets.
Top Workplaces USA draws on real-time insights into what works best for an organization to make informed decisions that have a positive impact on its people and clients. The award offers national recognition for large organizations with more than 150 employees. Results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 culture drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
